This article discusses the anatomy of organizational policies. Understanding a policy’s internal and external structure helps policy writers and users of corporate policies to design policies that are more effective in achieving their objectives, i.e. are more likely to generate action and lead to desired outcomes. We will take the previous article on knowledge graphs and storytelling a couple of steps further, zooming in on corporate policies.
